WP9 Objectives
To provide a professional toolkit ”Good Practice in Teaching Active Citizenship” for leaders and educators of civil society and initiate training using IT and new methods of teaching and learning.
WP9 Description of Work
- International Research team prepares a publication of a manual in English for trainers (hard copies, e-version to be placed in the internet and a CD-Rom). To be finished during the first period M0-M17.
- National teams organize training for trainers with the aim to disseminate good practice of teaching and learning methodologies (focus on active citizenship).
- National coordinators organize international distance-learning courses for students, NGO leaders and educators, so that different regions in Europe gain the knowledge of how to act on local, national and European levels in fighting civic apathy and exclusion.
