DESCRIPTION:This two-day conference aims at engaging in a constructive
  debate around the civic and political inclusion of immigrants and the
 ir children into the public sphere of their places of settlement. For 
 this purpose\, the teams of the project LOCALMULTIDEM – funded by th
 e 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission – will present 
 various aspects of the main findings of an ambitious comparative proje
 ct carried out in eight European cities.
