The preparatory meeting was implemented according to plan and took place in Kaunas on 19^th May 2008. Reflecting on the preparatory meeting the WP responsible drafted and communicated around the framework paper, which is to be the cornerstone for the participants of the upcoming WP conference in February 2009. On the basis of the feedback from the “stakeholders” the framework papers were edited and finalized. With the intention of broad reach of academia and interested public the call for paper was issued to the established contacts within academia and interested public; the communication channels of CINEFOGO network were also employed. In accordance with the WP goals the relevant stakeholders/academics from the CEE and South-Eastern European countries were invited to participate in the upcoming conference; several of them already confirmed their participation.
