WP22 Objectives

Since third sector and civil society research are scattered around many different academic fields as well as around institutions all over Europe, there is no easy way for students to find relevant and updated information about research. Hence the main objective of this work package is to make information about civil society and third sector research easily available in a "student corner" linked to the CINEFOGO main web-site. The Student Corner web-site will be organized around four main topics in an European context: Publications (searchable lists of publications concerning civil society and third sector research; books, articles and working papers ) Programs (programs and courses available for students) Places (presenting the institutions where this kind of research is carried out) and People (presenting the researchers, teachers and PhD-students involved in non-profit research with contact information) . Another important objective of the web-site is to provide a platform for information about the PhD student networks meetings (WP 21).

WP22 Description of work

Most of the work of developing the core web-site, databases and connections between them is planned to be accomplished in the previous period (month 11-17). The work in period 18-35 mainly concerns filling and updating the databases with relevant information, testing and further develop the web-site in cooperation with the target groups. In combined effort for spreading usage of the web-site and to collect further information for the databases and attitudes toward the web-sites content and design, meetings will be held at some of the CINEFOGO partner universities in Europe.
